Main duties will include:

Fully Set & Operate CNC – 175 Durma Press Brake
machine
·
Check dimensions and angle using Vernier
callipers and angle measurers.
·
Produce parts for a busy Fabrication / shopfloor
environment.
·
Ensure the machine and workplace is always kept
tidy.
·
Complete and maintain paperwork.
·
Check machine for defects and inform Foreman /
Management as necessary.
·
Must be flexible as overtime may be required.
·
Must be able to read engineering drawings.
·
Must be able to work on their own or as part of
a busy team.
The
ideal candidate will have experience of operating Brake Presses, be able to
read from engineering drawings, experience of using Vernier’s and protractors.
Have experience of forming various sizes & thickness of blanks, previous experience in the sheet metal role.
Hours of work: 38-39 hours per week
Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 16.00pm / Friday 7.00am – 14.00pm (39hrs)
Late shift – Mon / Thur 14.00pm – 00.00am. (38hrs)
